On February 24 this year, Tomasz Hajto posted an unusual entry on his social media. In it, the 52-year-old boasted that he had become a father and could hold in his arms a healthy daughter who had been born 11 weeks prematurely. In an interview with "Super Express", he spoke about his experiences.

"The first month after the birth was very difficult, the doctors were fighting for Zuzia's life, three months in an incubator. Later we had to go back to the hospital again because complications arose. We went through a lot together, but it brought us even closer together," said the sports commentator in an interview with "Super Express".

The girl was born on May 12, and it was only in December, before Christmas, that her parents could breathe a sigh of relief and not worry about their little one's life. Zuzia is getting better, she is catching up, but "her life is definitely not in danger," as Hajto, who does not feel old, pointed out.

"I don't feel old at all. I'm 52, and we decided to have a child two years ago. Mariola and I were a perfect match and decided to start a family like mature people. [...] Today I can honestly say that I've been with Mariola for 2.5 years and I'm faithful to her," added the former footballer, who doesn't hide the fact that, looking back, he should have divorced his first wife earlier. In his opinion, there's no point in trying to save a relationship just because there are children. Instead, you should be happy and in love. However, he believes that you need to mature in certain matters.

"In retrospect, I think I should have gotten divorced earlier. If people are not a good match, then saving the relationship by force because there are children and saying that it is not appropriate otherwise is a mistake and nonsense. In life, you have to be happy, smiling and in love," added the happy father in the aforementioned conversation.

After ending his career, Tomasz Hajto became a commentator and football expert. He also tried his hand at freak fights. His ex-wife is Renata Sosin, with whom he had two children: a son Mateusz and a daughter Victoria (both are adults now). The couple divorced without a ruling of guilt.
